Are you an experienced and adaptable educator with a passion for guiding young minds through their Key Stage 2 learning journey? ABC Teachers are seeking KS2 Teachers to support our schools in the Wednesbury area on a day to day, short-term and long-term basis. 

Position: KS2 Supply Teacher

Location: Wednesbury and the surrounding areas

Contract: Temporary, On-Call Basis

As a supply teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering quality education during periods of staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured and inspiring lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum to ensure continuity in students' learning.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, respect, and cooperation.
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide timely feedback on student progress, ensuring learning objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions and adherence to school policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, assessment strategies, and teaching methodologies.
  • Adaptability and the ability to quickly integrate into new classroom environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
  • Enthusiasm for nurturing a love for learning and supporting students' holistic development.
  • Flexibility and availability for on-call supply teaching assignments.

Pay  

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this role is a QTS and experience we are able to obtain references for in a Primary School Setting.
