My Wednesbury based client who specialise in Mechanical & Electrical engineering are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties:-

  • Working along the customer service team being first contact point of customers in connection with field service, spare parts,technical support and sales requests
  • Develop, prepare and present sales proposal / quotations to customers tosecure or renew orders
  • Liaise with customers to assess potential application of company products or services and offer solutions that meet customer requirements or needs
  • Provide proactive technical sales support to maximise customer experience and spending
  • Generate new business and ensures growth of existing accounts;
  • Manage opportunity pipeline with active follow ups together with customer service consultant and account managers
  • Provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Update Salesforce CRM system with allinteractions and resolutions
  • Gathering, consolidating, reporting the figures, activities and statistics with using IT tools (Salesforce, SAP, Office etc.)
  • Collaborate with other departments
  • Stay up-to-date with product and industry knowledge to provide accurate and helpful sales support

Key Skills:-

  • Higher education or university graduate from electrical / electronics / industrial electronics / automation / machinery / mechatronics related departments or physics.
  • If you have experience within atechnical position this would be advantageous.
  • Good attention to details and IT skills (Salesforce, SAP, Office etc.)
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent coordination, planning, problem solving, able to work under pressure.

Additional Information:-

  • Working hours - Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm or 8.30pm - 4.30pm
