- Maintain quality system for ISO 9000-2015 assessment.
- Good understanding and use of measuring equipment
- Deal with day-to-day quality issues, using 8D.
- Inform staff on quality procedures.
- Formalize monthly report format covering customer complaints, quality-affected production down time and cost of quality.
- Ability to read drawings
- Carry out full PPAP's for customers (including FMEA, Gauge R+R,)
- Ability to deal directly with customers
- Prospects to develop to the position of Quality manager
- Occasionally travel in the UK.
- Hourly walk rounds of the factory spot checking paperwork and parts
- Â Be able to demonstrate that they have the confidence to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as with suppliers and manufacturers.
- A proven quality or project engineering background.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Need to be self-motivated and prepared to work on own or as part of a team.
- Â Familiarity with 8D and FMEA processes would be advantageous
