Power Press Setter

Hours of work:                 6am to 2pm

Weekly hours:                  38 hours per week

Skills:                               Needs Power Press / Rospa cert

                                        FLT / overhead crane ideal

Hourly rate:                      £14.30 per hour

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using 55 to 400 tonne machines in a safe manner
• Setting and operating pneumatic and hydraulic presses.
• Twisting, forming and piercing steel and galvanised parts.
• Inspect all finished products.
• Approach the team leader with any immediate concerns or suggestions for departmental improvement.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety standards and Regulations.

Qualification & Experience

• At least 2 years experience in tool setting
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Hold ROSPA qualification
• FLT & Overhead crane licence
• Attention to detail
