PCB Assembly Technician

Location: Wellesbourne, Warwickshire

We are looking for a highly skilled PCB Assembly Technician required for a company based in Wellesbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing PC faults, performing component-level repairs on PCBs and circuit boards, reading and interpreting schematics, and providing exceptional customer service to our international clients.

This position is offered on an initial contract basis with the opportunity of a permanent position for those who demonstrate a high skillset and strong business behaviours.

This is an exciting and fast-moving role that will require you to be highly organised, comfortable multitasking and able to prioritise workloads.

Duties And Responsibilities - PCB Assembly Technician:

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in PCs.
  • Perform component-level repairs on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other circuit boards.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and diagrams.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Required Skills of the PCB Assembly Technician:

  • Proven experience in PC repair and PCB/circuit board component-level troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electronic schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
