We are working alongside a Top 50 Practice Accountancy firm to find an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager to manage a portfolio of clients, with a focus on advisory work involving Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning, Trusts, and International tax.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (plus overtime)

Responsibilities:

As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will manage an advisory portfolio of private clients, and maximise the fee income while supervising the billing department. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting reports and providing comprehensive advice solely for private clients.

  • Report writing and providing detailed, high-quality advice to clients.
  • Relationship building with team members and clients.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of staff.
  • Effectively delegate work to others within the team and take responsibility for quality control while meeting crucial deadlines.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification such as CTA (or equivalent).
  • Good experience of private client tax advisory services.
  • Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience, specifically in Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning, Trusts, and International tax matters.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Organised and methodical with strong numerical abilities.
