We are currently recruiting for an experienced administrator to join a growing organisation within their Plant Hire team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills to take on a pivotal role within a growing business.
Duties
- Handle all hire requests from initial inquiry to equipment return.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections with the transport team.
- Monitor fleet movements via tracking systems to maximise efficiency.
- Maintain accurate hire documentation and records.
- Manage breakdown reports and arrange emergency replacements promptly.
- Advise customers on equipment selection to meet their needs.
- Prepare competitive hire quotes and negotiate rates.
- Address and resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is inspected and compliant.
- Ensure all hired equipment meets required safety standards and regulations.
- Chase overdue accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Process hire extensions and off-hires accurately.
- Generate and analyse performance reports to support business operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office skills.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
