This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills to take on a pivotal role within a growing business.Duties
  • Handle all hire requests from initial inquiry to equipment return.
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections with the transport team.
  • Monitor fleet movements via tracking systems to maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate hire documentation and records.
  • Manage breakdown reports and arrange emergency replacements promptly.
  • Advise customers on equipment selection to meet their needs.
  • Prepare competitive hire quotes and negotiate rates.
  • Address and resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is inspected and compliant.
  • Ensure all hired equipment meets required safety standards and regulations.
  • Chase overdue accounts and ensure timely payments.
  • Process hire extensions and off-hires accurately.
  • Generate and analyse performance reports to support business operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
