The HGV Technician position offers an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £55,000 per annum with a basic salary of £48,594 per annum.
The role is based in Wellingborough and requires working alternating weeks of early and late shifts, including Saturday mornings.
Candidates should have at least a Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification, and an HGV licence is considered an advantage.
Additional benefits include overtime pay at time and a half, double time on Sundays and bank holidays, and 25 days of holiday that can increase to 30 days.
The job entails routine vehicle maintenance, preparation for MOT inspections, and using diagnostic equipment, among other responsibilities.

HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £48,594pa
Working Hours:
Week 1 - Monday-Friday 06:00-14:30
Week 2 - Monday-Friday 14:00-22:30 + Saturday morning 06:00-12:00
Location: Wellingborough

Additional Benefits:
All overtime after your initial 40 hour contract is time and a half
Double time on Sundays and bank holidays if worked
25 days (Rising to 30) holiday plus bank holidays

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
