A leading global engineering, repair, and logistics provider is expanding into Wellingborough, and are looking for a driven Operations specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping their success.As Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of operational performance, ensuring efficient delivery of products to clients while driving continuous improvement. Your expertise in logistics, leadership, and strategic planning will be key to optimising processes and fostering a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities
  • Performance & Efficiency: Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Reverse Logistics & Quality Assurance: Oversee returned product handling, collaborate with Engineering/Quality teams, and drive KPI-based performance improvements.
  • Workload & Resource Management: Plan and allocate manpower efficiently to meet business targets.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Analyse escalations and failures, implementing corrective actions to enhance service levels.
  • Continuous Improvement & Standardisation: Lead process improvements using CI methodologies and cross-training initiatives.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibility: Ensure compliance with all regulations and promote sustainable waste management.
