Logistics Co-ordinatorWellingboroughHours - Monday to Friday 30 hrs pwSalary £27,500-31,000Are you an excellent communicator both written and verbal?Are your interpersonal skills being able to work with internal departments as well as conversing with vendor representatives?Do you have previous vendor management experience within logistics operations?If so, our Wellingborough based client is recruiting a Logistics Co-ordinator on a permanent basis to join their warehouse operations team.Responsibilities:-
  • Working with customers via email and phone throughout the whole of Europe and the UK to coordinate deliveries and collections of goods
  • Research various vendor options and select the best options based on the customers’ needs
  • Work with vendors to determine a reasonable rate and to coordinate the timing and means of delivery
  • Handle any related to vendor service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays
  • Find solutions to budget limitations, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise
  • Keep an accurate record of jobs on hand
  • Track orders from placement through to delivery
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Import compliance for HMRC administrative support
  • Provide support to other areas of the business when required
As well as having excellent communication skills this role requires the individual to possess good planning and organisation skills.
