  • Minimise machine downtime
  • Prevent manufacturing lost time
  • Achievement of the Preventative Maintenance Plan
  • To be audit ready at all times – relevant paperwork and quality audits completed
  • To be generating continuous improvement ideas
Engineering operates a 24/6 cover, working on 3 nights on, 4 nights off rota with Banked hours principle. We are currently looking for a night shift engineer.We are looking for someone who will complement the team with a balance of skills and experience: 
  • Experience of working as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating an understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably food processing. 
  • Experience working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems 
  • Experience of process, packaging and service equipment
The ideal candidate will be working towards or already have the following qualifications: 
  • BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline or Multi skilled engineering qualification or C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro – technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
  • Time served apprentice
  • Multi-skilled Engineer
  • HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
