An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join a leading company in the industrial weighing solutions industry, based in Somerset. The role requires a customer-facing individual who is a team player, and is strategic and proactive in their approach.

Client Details

Our client is a market leader in commercial weighing solutions in the UK, operating in a diverse range of sectors, including but not limited to food, pharmaceuticals, engineering and aerospace. With a head office in Chesterfield, and another branch in Somerset, the company is well placed to continue offering their services across the whole country.

Description

  • Drive and manage sales and commercial activity across the South West and South East divisions.
  • Be proactive in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and growing existing accounts
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to offer solutions.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and grow opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong understanding of the industrial sector.
  • A customer-focused attitude, with experience in delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
