We’re working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of construction materials, and they’re on the hunt for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With 17 sites across the UK, the site you’ll be based at has been running since the 1980s, and you’ll be working with a mix of both old and new machinery.

What’s on Offer:

Salary: £52,000 per year
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days and Nights)
Overtime: Earn extra with 1.5x and 2x rates

Your Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a vital part in keeping things running smoothly:

Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
Tackle reactive repairs and breakdowns when things go wrong
Fault-find across a range of mechanical (and some electrical) systems
Work with a variety of equipment, from box feed conveyors to kiln cars, pick and place robotics, strappers, and belt conveyors

The team you’ll be joining is experienced and supportive, with plenty of opportunity to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Whether you’ve got a mechanical or electrical bias, they’re looking for to strengthen the team.
