A highly successful accountancy practice based in Wells undergoing growth and expansion is searching for a Qualified Senior Accountant to join the team in a key position in this growing office with excellent career progression prospects on offer in a role providing accounts, tax and wider services to a varied client base.

Description

Joining the firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant based out of the firms Wells offices you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands on provision of varied, accounts / tax and wider general practice services to mixed and wide ranging client base . Clients are varied across wide ranging industry limited companies, SME's and OMBs along with smaller sole traders and partnerships, with clients up to the audit threshold in turnovers on the largest. As well as managing the hands on provision of year end accounts preparation, tax and wider general practice services to your clients, in both a hands on and review role you will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within this office and firm working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will help assisting within managing a wider team, reviewing work and supporting junior staff in their development. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career.

Profile

For this qualified senior accountant you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an experienced Senior Accountant professional. You will have a recent background working for a UK based accountancy practice, in both a hands on or managerial review capacity, or with the demonstrable ability to step up into this level of role, overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax services and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships.You will be looking for a challenging, long term permanent career move where you can carve a career within a highly successful firms of accountants.

Job Offer

Circa £33,000 - £38,000 plus benefits, negotiable dependent on experience and background of the right professional.
