Senior Quality Manager

A leading tier 1 nationwide civils contractor is seeking an experienced civils biased Quality Manager to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned leading civils business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Senior Quality Manager will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Head of Quality.

About the role of Senior Quality Manager

This tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large complex civils projects ranging up to 500M. Sectors include rail, highways and heavy infrastructure schemes across the UK. The role of Senior Quality Manager will be joining an immediate team of six people and be based across their sites in the Midlands, Wales and North West.

Responsibilities for Senior Quality Manager

  • Work closely with the project managers across the project providing fundamental support to their project and team.
  • Overseeing the management and quality reporting process and systems, ensure compliance across relevant documents, assist with planning and document control
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and measurement systems throughout the business
  • Implement both company and client Quality Management Systems.

Requirements for Senior Quality Manager

  • Previous experience within the construction industry and a similar role is fundamental,
  • Strong knowledge and experience of BIM legislation and regulations, as well as industry best practice.
  • Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute or institution of Civil Engineers.
  • Experience and understanding of ISO 19650 and 4Projectts, A-Site and ProjectWise.
