Exciting Opportunity as Financial Controller within large Division of a high growth Group based in Welwyn Garden City.

This is a newly created role reporting into Divisional Head and is the perfect fit for a technically strong Finance Manager looking to be on a journey of growth and opportunity to make a role their own.

The core elements of the role include broad reporting and plenty of development work around control and processes and requires an individual with a forward thinking mindset.

Core accountability's include:

Management and development of a small but growing team covering, Financial Control, Credit Control and Transactional finance.

Supporting all areas of Financial control including: Leading Statutory reporting, Tax and relationships with internal and External auditors.

Preparing annual and periodic Financial reporting in line with Group to make consolidation ready.

Support Budgeting and Forecasting

Balance Sheet control

Lead Cash-flow consolidation and variance analysis

Review & test key financial controls, assessing their effectiveness to mitigate risk

Support Group Tax team with Tax Analysis

Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register

Primary liaison with Group teams - Financial Shared Service Centre, Financial Reporting & Control, Supply Chain Control, Procurement, Treasury & Tax Teams

Lead on Inter-company relationships, loans, recharges & reconciliations

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified looking for an opportunity for personal growth within a fast track business.

A high working level of Excel and exposure to Power BI would be beneficial but not essential
