A highly regarded, specialist manufacturer of subcontract precision machined parts and components from industrial engineering and high-performance materials in a variety of forms, are looking for an experienced CADCAM Programmer / CNC Miller, due to continued growth and expansion, to join their team of other skilled and friendly machinists.
Job Profile
As the successful CADCAM Programmer / CNC Machinist (Milling), you will be reporting to the Production Manager and working alongside a highly skilled and friendly team of other experienced CNC machinists / engineers, working on varied and interesting projects, producing components for a varied client base.
Duties:
- Program, Set and Run CNC Milling machines
- Offline 5 Axis and 4 Axis Programming using EdgeCam (other software experience will be considered)
- Creation of holding fixtures for production parts
- Use of CAM package to create programs for machined parts from customer drawings
- CNC Programming using Fanuc and Winmax
- Modifying programs when required.
- Set and Run Machines
- Check work at each stage
- Creation of works instructions for new parts.
Skills & Attributes:
- Offline / CADCAM Programming (ideally with EdgeCAM but other software experience will be considered).
- Winmax / Fanuc experience would be ideal but will consider other controls experience.
- Able to Set and Run CNC Machines.
- Able to Program CNC Machines.
- Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings.
- Able to use Manual Machine Tools when required.

Hours of Work:
- Double Day Shift (Days and Lates)
- Morning Shift 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday & 1:15pm finish Friday
- Late Shift 11am to 8pm, Monday to Thursday & 8am to 1:15pm Friday
- Overtime available, paid at a rate of x1.5hrs weekdays & Saturday, x1hrs Sunday
