Quality Inspector

Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Quality inspector to join our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a temporary to permanent basis.

Working Hours - Alternating Shift weekly rotating Am and PM shift 

Hourly rate -£12.50 - £14.00 based on experience plus a 15% shift premium 

This is a long term temporary to permanent position 

Once offered a permanent position this client has benefits such as - Free onsite parking, enhanced pension contributions aswell as regular company events 

Job Roles:

-Checking inspection records

-Quality checking products at various points of production

-Working with and supporting the quality manager

- Understanding and working with Engineering drawings

- Use of measuring equipment eg micro meter, verniers, DTI's and Shadowgraphs

Skills/ Experience

-      Previous experience within a similar environment, experience desired but not essential

-      Need good attention to detail 

-      Must be willing to learn

-      Good communication skills with the team

-      Ability to undertake a demanding role

-      Self- motivated/ proactive worth ethic
