Buying Administrator Support

Hours: Monday - Friday 36 hours a week

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Contract: 6 month contract

Rate: £13.25PH

Role Accountability's:

This role entails providing support for the Assistant Buyers/Buyers as required with tasks such as:

  • Product setup: working with TBS teams and My Product systems to ensure new products and suppliers are set up accurately and on time, from migration through to product authorisation.
  • Managing deliveries and product samples - requesting from suppliers, opening boxes, logging/storage/disposal of boxes and product, sending to agencies, press events, photography or returning to suppliers as required.
  • Competitor checks and price analysis - regular and adhoc checks online and instores as required.
  • Documenting and summarising for the team.
  • Maintaining any excel spreadsheets or trackers for the department, ensuring they are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Helping to build product displays at our clients Merchandising Centre
  • Manual handling of heavy items

Skills required:

  • Ability/confidence to speak up and flag issues to wider team
  • Highly organised and excellent time management
  • Understanding of how to work to a critical path
  • Good excel skills
  • Work in an agile way, ability to juggle workload coming from different team members and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to use initiative when needed - we are small teams and busy departments.
  • Driving license is preferred as you will need to pick up items from other stores
