About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Children's Senior Practitioner to join our 0-25 Disability Service team. In this role, you will lead on complex cases, mentor junior staff, and ensure top-tier social work practice in supporting children and young adults with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex cases involving children and young adults with disabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Conduct thorough assessments and manage risks effectively.
- Foster relationship-based practice to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
- Stay updated with the latest social work practices and legislation.
About You:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification social work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of social work practice in disability services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft IT packages.
- Full UK Driving Licence and regular access to a vehicle.
Team-Specific Skills:
- Ability to complete comprehensive assessments and manage risks.
- Experience in relationship-based practice.
