Our client, an innovative and fast-growing tech company based in Stevenage, is looking for a Part-Time Office Assistant. This role offers excellent opportunities for future growth and development within an exciting organisation.

Role Overview:

As a part-time Office Assistant, you will provide professional, friendly, and efficient support to the Office Manager and the management team. You can will work 3 full days, including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This role requires you to be present in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the general upkeep of the office
  • Welcome all office visitors upon arrival
  • Handle various basic administrative and HR tasks such as onboarding admin, organising interviews, and absence reporting
  • Organise events
  • Set up meeting rooms and arrange refreshments
  • Manage inbound calls and inquiries
  • Order equipment and stationery, and manage supplier relationships
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the management team and other employees
  • Produce reports for different teams within the business

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proactive, organised, and methodical with the ability to multitask
  • Naturally energetic and efficient
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of projects
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Confident in providing high-quality customer service and dealing with high-profile customers
  • Proficient in various IT skills, including using business databases
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy

Working Hours and Salary:

  • 3 to 4 days a week from 9:00 to 5:30
  • Full-time equivalent salary of 24,000 to 26,000, prorated based on your chosen hours
