Materials Buyer for 5* Housebuilder in Hertfordshire

We are currently working with one of the UK's leading housebuilders, who are seeking a Materials Buyer to join their dynamic Commercial team based in their Hertfordshire office
This is an exciting opportunity to manage procurement duties and material purchasing for up to two sites, ensuring cost-efficiency and top-notch quality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement processes and material ordering for new projects.
• Source and assess new materials to optimize cost and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure specifications are met.
• Track material costs, manage budgets, and report on price changes.
• Attend site visits to ensure smooth material supply and resolve issues.
