About the role of Legal Counsel
Your role as Legal Counsel will be to work with the legal director and commercial teams to advise on a range of legal and contractual manors with key clients including Amazon, Google and more. You will be responsible not not limited to the following:
- Advising on legal matters across contract law, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and infrastructure-related legal issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, NDAs, construction agreements, supplier terms, and more
- Leading the contract process from discussion to execution, identifying and mitigating legal risk
- Managing legal disputes, from negotiation and mediation to litigation, aligning outcomes with commercial objectives.
Requirements for Legal Counsel:
The company are looking for a candidate who comes from a Quantity Surveying background and has worked in contract negotiation with ideally the following:
- Strong working knowledge of contract law, infrastructure projects, and commercial legal frameworks
- In-depth understanding of UK regulatory frameworks relevant to the sector
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal integrity and business goals

They have been established for 25 years and in the past 12 months doubled in size with a strong order book for 2025 and 2026. With major key clients including Amazon, Google and more. The company is family run with projects across London.
