Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic buying plans
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics
- Coordinating with department heads to forecast future product needs
- Identifying and managing risk within the supply chain
- Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods
Profile
A successful Senior Strategic Buyer should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
