Job Description:

Are you eager to launch a successful career in the mortgage industry? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Wembley. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established Mortgage Broker firm in partnership with a leading estate agency. Responsibilities:As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker working from the Wembley office, you will play a pivotal role in assisting senior advisors and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Learning and understanding the mortgage market, products, and regulatory requirements (CeMAP 1 qualification essential).
  • Assisting in providing tailored mortgage advice and solutions to clients. (This will involve working closely with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.)
  • Supporting senior advisors in managing client relationships and mortgage applications.
  • Conducting initial consultations with clients to assess their eligibility for a mortgage.
  • Assisting with researching and recommending suitable mortgage products.
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure a smooth mortgage process.
  • Providing ongoing communication and updates to clients throughout the application journey.
  • Contributing to the team by meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Requirements:

  • CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Clean credit history.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the mortgage industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Basic salary up to £25,000 including car allowance and financial guarantees of £500 per month for the first 6 months.
  • Uncapped and unvalidated commission, plus bonuses OTE £45,000 - £50,000.
