Description
- Processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
- Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
- Assisting in financial audits.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supporting the Accounting & Finance department in monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Providing support and assistance to the company's Finance Director.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
