A really interestingopportunity has arisen to lead and support the mechanical and electrical maintenance team ata high profile venue in West Londonas the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

As the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will have adirect impact to the operations of this large facilityduring operational hours which can include being present on site during major events (paid as overtime).

Our client are looking for someone who has an FMCG background with a Mechanical bias.

You will ideally have some background and passion for Sustainability as there is the opportunity to advise and make reccomendations to the client about improvements and upgrades.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Support the team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action where neccessary
  • Support the delivery of Compliance Policy and statutory requirements across the contract.
  • Manage delivery of both day to day operations as well as small works.
  • Supporting during events at the venue
  • Recruitment and performance of the team
  • Co-ordinate the implementation of standard operational processes across the contract.

This is a leadership role and we are thereforelooking for someone who is going to share their passion and enthusiasm for M&E.

  • Someone with a true understanding of Mechanical systems within Maintenance & Engineering
  • This role will require someone who is analytical and able to problem solve
  • Someone who is a good communicator
  • Someone who is able to build strong relationships with customers is key
