We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our Management Team at our Head Office in Wembley. This role is integral to overseeing all HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, and managing staff issues. The HR Assistant will work closely with the Senior Management Team to support business needs and ensure smooth HR operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleague queries related to HR matters.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from advertising positions to organising interviews and onboarding.
  • Handle disciplinaries, grievances, and absence reviews effectively.
  • Maintain meticulous records on our HR system (Breathe), including pulling reports and managing data entry.
  • Process offer letters, contracts, and references confidentially and accurately.
  • Assist the accounts department with payroll breakdowns on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure all staff are up-to-date with relevant qualifications and training.
  • Coordinate training programmes and keep the training tracker updated.
  • Advise on company benefits packages and assist in improving existing policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing HR projects and support the HR department as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar HR role.
  • CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources and employment law.
  • Strong leadership and business management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR systems such as Breathe.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
