Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Sudbury, Brent.

About the role
  • Provide focused 1:1 support to the child with ASD (reception), adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring the child is actively engaged and included in classroom activities.
  • Create a positive and structured learning environment that promotes the child’s confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with the teacher to implement strategies from the child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Support the child during playtime and lunchtime to encourage social interactions and positive relationships with peers.
  • Job is starting ASAP until July, hours are 08:00-15:30pm

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Previous experience working with ASD is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Hold an enhanced DBS
