Role Profile

I am currently recruiting an Experienced Production Manager, for a growing frozen food manufacturer. They are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual, with a strong food production background who likes to be hands on, and has experience in high volume D2C production.

Key Responsibilities:

This role sits within Food Production on site, reporting to the Head of Food / Director. You will be one of the gatekeepers of food quality at the business and work closely with the Head of Food. Whilst the Head of Food focuses on menu development and COGs, this role focuses on ensuring the highest food quality standards are consistently met. You must be technical and process-driven, with a background in food, a deep passion and knowledge of it, and will have worked in a food manufacturing environment for a minimum of 5 years. Bring your experience, enthusiasm and leadership, and we will give you ownership of your area. We need you to be proactive, energised by problem solving, strategic and seeking continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • A least 5 years' experience working in a food production - ideally frozen
  • Highly computer literate
  • Food Hygiene Level 3 minimum
  • HACCP and COSSH trained
  • Extensive SALSA experience
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to develop strong relationships internally and externally whilst being flexible when necessary
  • Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
  • Strong team player with problem solving experience
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Line management experience of direct teams and external partners
  • Strategically focused
