We are currently looking for an experienced Patching Engineer for an initial 3 month contract based in Wembley, Middlesex.

Hourly rate: 29 per hour inside IR35 via an umbrella company

Tenure: Wembley, Middlesex 5 days a week.

Hours Per week: 37 hours per week.

The Patching Engineer must have the following experience:

  • Manage and deploy patches and updates to Windows systems and applications across all organisations .

  • Monitor and assess the impact of patches on system performance.

  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to schedule and coordinate patch deployments.

  • Resolve issues arising from patch deployments and update failures.

  • Provide reports on patch management activities and system compliance.

  • Conduct regular audits of patch levels and system statuses.

  • Patch Management, CVE, CVSS, Threats & Risk, Zero Day Experience .

  • Essential to have experience working with Patch Management, Reporting, Agent Procedures & Policy Management.

  • Experience with SCCM and Intune patch management, and familiarity with Qualys will be beneficial .

  • Experience with Windows 365 and AVD patching will be beneficial .

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft patching schedules & methods.

  • Ability to use PowerShell for automating tasks, managing systems, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Evaluate new Intune features and capabilities, recommending adoption where appropriate .

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Intune configurations, policies, and procedures
