Quantum Scholars are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher to join an "Outstanding" secondary school in North-West London. This will be a full-time position on a Long Term Supply Contract starting in September 2025 lasting for 1 academic year.
This role will involve teaching Science (across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, challenging, and creative lessons while fostering a love of science in your students.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive Science lessons to students of varying abilities.
Curriculum Planning: Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring a differentiated approach.
Assessment: Track and assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and homework. Provide clear and constructive feedback to help students achieve their best.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where students are motivated to learn and encouraged to reach their potential.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Science department and other teaching staff to ensure a cohesive curriculum and enhance the teaching and learning experience.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Science (or a related field) with specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to teach across all three sciences.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for science and inspiring students to pursue STEM subjects.
The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and be an active member of a team.
A commitment to professional development and staying up to date with current educational practices.
