Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a secondary school in Wembley, Brent.
The role is full-time and long-term, starting in September, with a salary of £34,000 to £50,000 per annum.
Candidates should have QTS and ideally possess knowledge or previous experience working with complex needs or SEND.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, supporting behavior management, and collaborating with support staff and the SENDCO.
Applicants must also hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and have the legal right to work in the UK.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced SEND Teacher to join a secondary school in Wembley. You will be working within the schools SEN unit which caters for a small number of students with speech and language needs. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September.

They offer a broad and challenging curriculum for all. The school also has an additional resourced provision (ARP) for up to 12 students with speech and language difficulties.

As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below:

Planning, delivering and lessons whilst assessing progress
Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions
Support behaviour by following the children's plans
Updating and setting targets for children
Offering advice and guidance to the teachers within the main school
Working alongside the SENDCO and other professionals

To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need :

QTS
Knowledge of, or previous experience working within complex needs or SEND
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
