Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's site at their manufacturing site near Wembley
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be a key team player within the Operations Team, responsible for manufacturing and logistics on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities as Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Place orders with supplier that are assigned to you.
- Adhere to appropriate lead times to maintain the necessary stock availability
- Regularly review holding stock levels/ parameters to fit with seasonal change
- Monitor forecasts and raise concerns where they arise
- Maintain systems to reflect launches, promotions, delists and amends
- Minimise stockouts through planning and monitoring stock movements
- Understand site storage limitations
- Understand the relationship between product life, minimum order quantity, shelf-life and lead time
- Investigate any discrepancies and escalate risks in a timely manner
- Support the logistics function with imports and border crossing administration
- Arrange for customs clearance.
- Manage transfers from 3PL partners

Skills required Supply Chain Coordinator
- Previous experience within a similar role, a minimum of 2 year's experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience within a FMCG environment
- Good working knowledge of SAP,MRP and Excel
