SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to support a forward-thinking school in Brent as they establish a brand-new ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) for Key Stage 1 pupils.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and dedicated SEND Lead to play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and innovative environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Speech and Language Difficulties, and other complex needs.

The Role

As the SEND Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and managing the ARP: Overseeing the development of tailored learning spaces and resources.
  • Developing individualized learning plans: Working closely with pupils, teachers, and families to ensure the provision meets the needs of each child.
  • Leading and mentoring staff: Supporting a team of TAs and LSAs to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
  • Collaborating with external professionals: Including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.
  • Monitoring progress and outcomes: Ensuring all pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About You

We are looking for a leader who is:

  • Experienced in SEND education: Ideally with prior experience setting up or managing an ARP or similar provision.
  • A strong communicator: Able to build relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
  • Passionate and innovative: Dedicated to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Qualified: You should hold a relevant teaching qualification and/or SEND leadership experience.
