Electrical Engineer

The CompanyA UK leading manufacturer, supplying into a diverse range of sectors globally, such as agriculture, pharmaceutical, automotive, and special chemical industries. Due to an increase in demand with key customers, the company are now seeking an electrical engineer to join the team at their West Bromwich based facility.

The roleAn electrical technician is required to join the team at their West Bromwich based Facility.

You will take responsibility for:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical equipment and systems
• To carry out electrical fault finding, installations and modifications in an industrial setting
• To conduct routine testing and inspections
• Interpret and work from schematics
• Using and updating CMMS software and working in accordance with safety systems and regulations

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Ideally apprentice trained or NVQ Lvl 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering or a similar discipline
• The ability to use and interpret technical drawings
• Must have previous experience of working in industrial or fast-paced production environment
• Good knowledge of EHS requirements

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• 17th or 18th wiring regulations would be highly advantageous
• Good knowledge and understand of ATEX requirements would be desirable

What is on offerOn offer is the chance to join a leading manufacturing company who are continuously growing in success. You would benefit from a salary of £33,000 - £42,000 (DOE), this is based on a 40-hour week working Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30. Along with this you will benefit from pension contribution, life assurance, 25 day paid holiday (plus bank holidays), and career development.
