Are you looking to get into the world of sales? On behalf of our client, we are looking for a superstar to join their sales department. This is a fast-paced role so you must be able to think on your feet and able to prioritise your workload. We are looking for a motivated individual to join their dynamic sales team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Salesperson with some office experience, who is eager to develop their career in sales. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales team, managing customer accounts, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities of Internal Sales:
  • Liase with clients providing high levels of customer service.
  • Answer a vast number of incoming calls, dealing with any queries or complaints.
  • Looking after client accounts, processing orders and creating purchase orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • You will be required to proactively call existing clients to develop on build on existing relationships, to make sure you are offering them a full service and to make sure you are identifying and proactively acting on sales opportunities.
  • Manage website queries and emails and respond efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.

Requirements of Internal Sales:
  • Previous office experience is required; experience in a sales environment is a plus, within an industrial work environment.
  • Experience working in an electrical or similar industry would be advantageous but not mandatory (Training will be provided on product knowledge).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload accordingly.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop within the sales field.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic and personable attributes.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
