What You’ll Do:

?? Develop & Implement Policies: Establish and drive EHS standards through effective procedures.?? Train & Communicate: Educate teams and stakeholders on safety protocols and regulations.?? Monitor & Report: Conduct audits and provide detailed reports to ensure compliance both internally and externally.?? Environmental Protection: Manage waste disposal, emissions, and discharge to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.?? Emergency Response: Coordinate responses to safety incidents and emergencies.?? Legal Compliance: Stay on top of the latest EHS regulations and legislation.?? Employee Well-Being: Foster a culture of health, safety, and well-being within the workforce.?? Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to integrate best practices and cutting-edge technologies to boost EHS performance.?? Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to promote EHS improvements and achieve compliance objectives.

What You Bring:

? Qualifications: GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, along with a recognized EHS industry qualification.? Experience: 3-5 years in an EHS role, preferably in a medium to large organization.? Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.? Problem-Solving: Proficiency in tools like 5-Why, 8D, and Kaizen to tackle challenges and drive continuous improvement.? Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and stakeholders.? Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.? Leadership: Strong influencing skills and the ability to work autonomously.
