Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant subject and will be passionate about supporting the educational and social development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive learning environment.
  • Supervising and ensuring the safety of students during activities and breaks.
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a tidy and organized classroom.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
