HR ADVISOR - PART-TIME

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 30 HOURS PER WEEK FLEXIBLE 

£32,000 - £35,000 (APPORTIONED PRO RATA)

People Solutions are looking for a part-time HR Advisor for our client based in West Bromwich.

This role is office based and not remote or hybrid.

Day to Day Duties

  • On site HR support working closely with a HR Business Partner who is based off site in London
  • Employee Relations – Provide support on employee concerns and conflict resolution
  • Recruitment – Assist in the hiring process, including job postings and interviews
  • Policy Development – Help create and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Training and Development – Facilitate employee training programs and performance management
  • Compliance – Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations
  • Data Management – Maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Reporting – Prepare HR metrics and reports for management review

Essential Skills

  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication for effective interaction with employees and management
  • Interpersonal Skills – Ability to build relationships and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Problem-Solving Skills – Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions in employee relations and HR processes
  • Organizational Skills – Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records
  • Knowledge of Employment Law – Understanding of labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to analyse HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and improve processes
  • Adaptability – Flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances and evolving organizational needs
  • Conflict Resolution – Skills to mediate disputes and facilitate resolution between employees or between employees and management
