Are you an experienced 'Production Planner' looking for a new opportunity in the manufacturing industry? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation based in West Bromwich, is seeking a talented individual to join their team! With a temp to perm contract and full-time working pattern, this is an exciting role that offers the chance for long-term, stable employment.

As a Production Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for actioning the departmental plan in line with the needs of the business. Co-ordinating all production batching requirements, you will ensure a good material flow and review the production capacities to facilitate efficient and effective batching of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce production schedules and enforce production capacities
  • Implement methodical batching in line with stock levels and business needs
  • Coordinate with Customer Services, Materials, and Supply Chain Department to meet customer expectations
  • Liaise with the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure timely availability of materials
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and raise issues in a timely manner
  • Support continuous improvement projects and provide suggestions for improvements
  • Undertake relevant training and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage a collaborative approach
  • Assist with site audits, projects, and issue resolution as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable navigating production planning software
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
