Pay: £44500 Plus bonus
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, festive shutdown at Christmas, companywide bonus

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Sunday to Wednesday 10pm – 6am and Thursday 10pm – 5am

We are pleased to be partner with a client that is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer. The client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. With approximately 3,900 employees and 65 manufacturing and distribution facilities worldwide

Overview of Maintenance Engineer Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings, and building systems. This includes:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment.
  • Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance work performed.

Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
  • Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems.
  • Welding experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

Pay: £44500 Plus bonus
