About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will be working closely with the Engineering Team within our Poultry division and provide general maintenance and breakdowns of the production equipment as well as carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is completed in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be required to carry out daily electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
  • Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
  • Working within a fast-paced environment covering all the electrical engineering maintenance activities.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled technician who is electrically biased, or an electrician with understanding of electrical installations. However, we also welcome candidates who have recently completed their apprenticeship scheme within the electrical engineering discipline who are looking to start a career within this field.

Key Skills

  • Experience and knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Must have good understanding and knowledge of electrical installation
  • Experience within the food industry, manufacturing, machinery or automation preferred but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We currently have 2 x Maintenance engineer (electrical) roles available based at our UK Poultry site in West Bromwich. The working hours will either consist of 12-hour day and night shifts 4 days on, 4 days off; or rotating shifts Monday - Friday.
