Overview
We are working with a fantastic manufacturing business based in West Bromwich who are looking to appoint a Plant Controller to join their excellent business!
This role is available as the current incumbent is retiring after many years of service, they are looking to hand this over to an experienced and safe pair of hands! You will be responsible for guiding and managing a capable team of 4 and effectively collaborating with the SLT.
You will get stuck in to the day to day activity of the site and ensure that costs are optimised and managed effectively. Business partnering with revenue stream managers you will identify areas for improvement and profit enhancing. You will also be responsible for the KPI reporting of the plant, preparing month- end close and commentary, balance sheet control and leading the audit process.
What is required
- Be Qualified by ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Have significant experience working within a busy manufacturing environment with complex stock management.
- Be a strong communicator. This role will see you getting out and about amongst the business, it is essential that you are comfortable working with finance and non-finance individuals.
