Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently looking for an resiatnce welding technician for our client based in the west bromwich area to start immediately. Ongoing long term position turning into a permanent contract!

As a resistance welding technician you will
- Set up, adjust and operate resistance welding equipment
- Perform regular macine maintenance and troubleshootinng to ensure great performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and work orders
- monitor the welding process to ensure high quality
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimise the process
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
You will need to have
- Proven experience with resistance welding techniques
- Familarity with various welding standards and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Work independantly and as part of a team
Hours available:
39 hours per week
Shift 1 - Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm and Friday 6am-1pm
Shift 2 - Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm
Hourly pay rate 11.44-12.50, also entitled to 22% shift allowance
