We are working with a fast-growing, dynamic business who have recently gone through a major and exciting acquisition. They are now seeking a driven and experienced HR Advisor to join their passionate team, supporting managers and teams through a hands-on approach in coaching, development, and a building a robust HR presence. In this pivotal HR Advisor role, you will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders and employees across all levels, guiding them through HR best practices and complex employee relations cases. Your role is vital in ensuring HR visibility across their sites (meaning one day off site), providing on-the-ground support, and strengthening their culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with managers to build their confidence and capability in HR-related matters. Provide coaching that aligns with our values and helps managers develop their skills in employee engagement, conflict resolution, and team development.

  • Lead and advise on complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues. 

  • Travel to various sites (once per week) to maintain a visible HR presence, engage directly with team members, and understand their unique needs and challenges. Your visits will be essential in building trust and encouraging a cohesive workplace culture across locations.

  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and processes that support both compliance and the unique culture of the business. 

  • Utilise HR data and analytics to guide decision-making, support managers in identifying trends, and address key areas for improvement within teams.

Profile:

You’re an experienced HR professional who is ready to step into an influential advisory role where you can help drive real change. You enjoy being hands-on and approachable, and you're skilled in handling complex cases with professionalism and integrity. You are:

  • Experienced in handling complex ER cases and providing clear, pragmatic advice to managers.
  • Adept at coaching and developing others, with a focus on empowering managers.
  • Proficient in understanding and applying HR legislation and best practices.
  • A strong communicator with a collaborative, approachable style.
  • Comfortable traveling to other sites and building relationships with teams across locations.
