Are you a passionate Social Value Manager with experience within housing, construction or property management?

Signet have partnered with a specialist within the social housing sector to help them find an experienced Social Value Manager to help enhance social value across the organisations projects and operations.

This role will based in West Byfleet and will report into the Managing Director, the Social Value Manager will be responsible for delivering positive community impact alongside ensuring compliance to social value legislation.

Main Responsibilities

- Developing and executing social value strategy alongside the operations team and stakeholders

- Ensuring alignment with the organisations overall CSR and ESG objectives

- Establishing measurable goals for performance and monitoring progress

- Work with sales and marketing to enhance offerings to new clients

- Relationship building with local communities, government agencies, clients and business partners

- Attending events with clients and act as the company social value champion

- Track, measure and report on the impact of initiatives using recognised frameworks (e.g. SORI, National TOMs)

- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

- Leading on training and raising awareness of social value across the organisation and external partners

About you 

- Experience working within social value, community engagement, CSR

- Familiarity with social value frameworks

- Ideally experience within social housing, but construction, public sector or FM considered

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- A passion for social value and community development

- Full UK driving licence
