Our client, a leading engineering company in West Lothian, is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, taking them from initial concept through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design solutions based on customer requirements.
- Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings (experience with Creo is a plus).
- Oversee projects from quotation to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
- Source materials and obtain supplier quotations to manage costs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in precision engineering, sheet metal, or fabrication is beneficial.
