Are you a creative visionary with an eye for stunning visuals and a passion for innovative design? Our client are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team and bring their brand to life through your exceptional creativity and expertise. Graphic Designer/Artworker  Hours: Monday -Thursday 8.30- 5.00, Friday 8.30-2pm (Permanent, full time, office based, West Drayton)Previous Industry Experience required.  A full time permanent role available for a Graphic Designer to provide support to an excellent Product Development team.  You will need to be able to work closely with a group of other designers and clients, and must be skilled in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The focus of your work will be designing flat artwork for 3D products. Your role will not be limited to this, and you may have the opportunity to progress within an excellent working environment. We are looking for a strong and motivated candidate. some products use licensing so the ability to use licensing guides is an advantage.  Duties Include, but not restricted to:  
  • Responsible for developing packaging and flat artwork for product
  • Be able to follow a design brief
  • Be able to communicate clearly with customers and understand their demands
  • Understand full spec of detailed and layered artwork for print
  • Creating company catalogues and sell sheets
  • Mocking up mood boards and researching major trends as well as an up to date knowledge of the industry style
  • Checking samples against artwork
  • Assisting in the preparation of all brand catalogues
  • Attending store visits to be able to design for your target customer
  • Understanding competitor products
  Key skills required:  
  • You must be fluent in English
  • Ideally a design graduate with previous experience in the field (Interns, design students are also welcome)
  • Ability to work with other designers and overseas manufacturers.
  • Advanced understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator for MAC
  • You must be creative and have a keen interest in product design as well as keep up to date with current trends
  • Must be able to work on several projects in short timelines
  • Understanding the target consumer and market trends
  • Experience in creating and following a critical path
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Initial first design (concept sample)
  • Ability to sketch/draw
  We are looking for candidates who have knowledge or previous experience in a fast-paced design team (this is preferred but not essential).
